Dr. Jameela Jifri

Dr. Jameela Jifri

Dr. Jameela Jifri of Scott and Derry Dental Care has been a practicing dentist since 1995. The experience she brings to every treatment session, whether in restorative or cosmetic dentistry, complemented by her passion for excellence and attention to detail has endeared her to the Greater Toronto community.

She is well known for her chairside manner, which is compassionate enough to calm even the most nervous patient. She spares no pains in getting to know her patients, spending some time in understanding what they seek from their dental sessions, and designing treatment plans for each patient. She believes in providing high-quality care over the long term , and her genuine consideration for her patients and her ethics shine through. Building trusting relationships through clear communication and full transparency are important to her, as she wants her patients to make informed choices about their treatment plans.

Dr. Jifri believes in updating her knowledge on the dynamic field of dentistry for the benefit of her patients. She manages to do so with membership in the Ontario Dental Association and participation in continuing education courses.


Dr. Savita Singh

ORTHODONTIST

With a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, St. George Campus, Dr. Savita Singh also possesses a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington D.C. Having graduated summa cum laude, she proceeded to pursue a three-year residency at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Here she earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and also received a Masters of Dental Science in recognition of her research work in the area of treatment and prevention of dental White Spot Lesions.

Dr. Singh specializes in dentofacial orthopedics, growth and development, and conventional orthodontics. Accordingly, she is also well versed in several treatment options that include Damon Self Ligation, Harmony Lingual Braces, and Clear Aligner Therapy, among several other cutting-edge treatments. She has a successful track record in the treatment of dentofacial abnormalities and Orthognathic Surgery.

Dr. Singh is also the recipient of several scholarships, awards, and accolades including the Plunkett Scholarship, B & W Parris Scholarship, and the Dr. James E. Brown Scholarship, among several others. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is actively involved in the Canadian Association of Orthodontists and the Ontario Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Singh is now back in her hometown of Toronto and loves keeping herself updated in her field of work and spending family time!
