Versatile, Premium Tooth Replacement

Dental implants are cylindrical-shaped posts. They are made from medical-grade titanium or ceramics like zirconia. These materials have been specially selected for implantation because they are designed to naturally and safely integrate into surrounding natural tissues. So, when the implant is placed in the jawbone, it will fuse or join the bone around it over the following months.

Once the implant has properly healed or “osseointegrated” (joined to the bone), it can provide a solid foundation to support or retain the dental restoration connected to it. Depending on your needs, we can replace a single tooth with one implant connected to a dental crown. We can also use a few strategically placed implants to support or retain a dental bridge. Or, an upper and/or lower denture may be attached to precisely-positioned implants.

We do not need to apply one implant to support each replacement tooth; implants are placed in a way that makes the most of the jaw bone. That way, when the bridge or denture is attached, the implants can properly hold these restorations in place over the long term. The use of minimal implants helps to bring down the financial barriers associated with dental implants, as the implant itself is the costliest part of treatment. Additionally, this approach minimizes the time you spend in the treatment chair and the demands on your body for healing.
